This week Winton took a team of Yr 4 Tag Rugby players to Dean Park where Park school were hosting their annual Tag Rugby tournament. Winton started off in good form with three wins and a draw from their four group stage matches. This progressed the team into the knockout stages. The semi-final matched us against St. Josephs and a close fought victory after extra time! In the final a close game against Park2 ended up in defeat. However the rugby progressed nicely as the afternoon went on and the children were proud of their medals and performances, as was Mr Millar.
