At the end of our topic we went to the Aviation museum. We have been learning this half term about how transport has changed across the years. We saw penny farthings and old prop planes, we learnt about cars and trains too. It was so great to see lots of pictures and videos in our topic learning time, but our trip brought it all to life.
We were able to climb into the cockpits, press the buttons and dress up too. Cherry and Plum class visited on Monday and Apple and Pear visited on Thursday.
We have been doing writing sentences in our English sessions too. We have been learning to use capital letters, finger spaces and full stops.
With all the work, writing and art we have done this half term we made a book for the museum to display. They were amazed by all the facts we knew. The children all had the best time, from a trip on the coach, to eating our picnic in the sunshine. Well done Reception.
