Year 4 have truly impressed us with their recent homework project on rivers. Their task was to create a 3D model of a river, using any materials they liked — from clay and papier mâché to even Lego.
The goal was to demonstrate their learning by including features found at each stage of a river, such as the source, meanders, waterfalls and the mouth. One particularly memorable model was actually made out of cake!
Every child put in an incredible amount of effort, and their hard work did not go unnoticed. All the children received Headteacher Awards for their fantastic river models. Well done, Year 4!
