The children at Winton Primary wanted to mark Remembrance Day 2024 with their own poppy lanterns. Each phase in the school took on a slightly different design and, through your kind donations of glass jars, they were able to produce some memorable art work befitting the occasion.
Whilst some of the jars have been left around the school for the children and visitors to appreciate, ‘Splat Pottery Painting Arts & Crafts’ have been kind enough to provide us with a larger space to display our work to commemorate Remembrance Day. We hope you have enjoyed walking past the display at the top of Oswald Road and had the opportunity to see the children’s efforts.
