Year 5 have been working hard in writing lessons to learn about non-chronological reports in order to write their own report about a mythical beast.
This week, we have read paragraphs about a Lipard (an extremely dangerous mythical creature!) and selected our favourite formal language sentence starters for our own writing. In these photos, you can see some of the actions the children came up with to remember the sentences.
After practising the sentences and feeling confident with our ideas, the children began the writing process.
