Following learning in Arts Week about Africa, Year 3 have been writing chronological reports on the Big 5 African animals. They began the topic by first identifying the key features of a successful report. After that, the children conducted their own research to create a fact file full of information on each animal, which they would eventually incorporate into their writing. The children did a fantastic job on their first major piece of writing this year, and all the Year 3 teachers have been impressed by the high standard of the children’s work!
