After learning about Greek pottery and practising drawing their own pots and patterns, Year 5 made their own model pots from clay.
They created a base for their pot and used the coiling method to make the sides. Well done for adding details in the form of spirals and waves. It was challenging at times, especially when the clay didn’t mould the way we wanted it to straight away, but we persevered!
In a couple of weeks, they will add repeated patterns with black paint that will stand out on the clay. We’re excited to see the finished product!
