This week an athletics team of twelve Year 4 children went to Winton and Glenmoor secondary school to compete in the Bournemouth School’s Quad Kids Athletics event. All the children had to do a: standing long jump, a 60 metre sprint, a howler throw and a 400 metre run. Our children did amazingly well with lots of 1st and 2nd place finishes! We eagerly await the results to see how Winton compared with the other schools competing! Results to come in a future newsletter!
