Over the Summer term Year 4 are having a competition to see which class can grow the most potatoes.
Each class planted three seed potatoes (2 earlies and 1 maincrop) into different coloured growing bags and the race is on to see who can grow the most.
They will need lots of care and watering over the next term so watch this space to see which class is crowned 2024 winners.
Over the Easter holidays 4LC’s seeds were the first to appear, closely followed by 4DW and 4EW. 4EG have got some ground to make up but there is plenty of time to go in this race!
Throughout this half term, 4LC’s have continued to make the most progress but will they finish victorious?
