Year 2 continue to learn their times tables by completing their Times Tables Rock Star sheets every day.
The children have been working hard to learn their 5 times table. Completing 60 questions in 3 minutes can be quite a challenge!
At the end of each daily session, the answers are read out and checked and times taken for those children who have answered all 60 questions correctly. Currently the fastest time is 1 minute and 3 seconds.
Not only do the children continue to learn daily in school, but also practise their skills online at home. In recognition of this there is a class celebration assembly each Friday. The awards are for; the pupil who has made the most improvement; children who have achieved the fastest time; and the class that has played the most during the week.
