Year five have started learning about forces. The first one to be investigated was friction and the children learnt how to conduct a full experiment. From the hypothesis to the conclusion, the children now know the details of each stage of an experiment!
We discovered that the playground actually had the least amount of friction (possibly due to it being quite wet….) which was unexpected and the corridor, the most amount of friction. Perhaps there was some unfair testing at large…we will have to address this in future experiments!
