Year five had two visitors from the Art University Bournemouth. The visit linked to our learning about outer space and also our ICT learning about using animation software which is called Flip-a-clip.
The visit also linked to our aspiration curriculum driver as the children were informed all about the process of applying for university and what careers they might be able to follow.
We were amazed to hear that previous students from AUB had gone on to work for huge animation companies such as Disney, Pixar and Lucas Arts!
The year five children also had the chance to ask question such as: what is a scholarship and how much does it cost to go to university?
