Egyptian Pottery

Over the last few weeks, the Year 4 students have worked hard to craft Egyptian bowls for our Egyptian exhibition. The journey commenced with thoughtful planning, as they delved into the minds of ancient Egyptians, contemplating the potential uses of the pottery, exploring shapes and colour.

The children then began shaping clay coils and arranging them within the bowls. Resulting in repetitive patterns and abstract designs.

The anticipation built as they patiently waited for their clay to dry, ready to add the final touch – colour!

Well done to our talented Year 4 children for their dedication, creativity and success of their Egyptian bowl project!
