In Year 2 the children are learning about China. They have been comparing what life is like in China to life in the UK. The children found a box full of exciting things and of course… they were sent from China! The children asked and answered questions about the items in the box. We are still intrigued to find out how to read Chinese writing!
The children were fascinated to learn about famous landmarks you might see if you visited China. Did you know the Terracotta Warriors were found by accident by someone who was digging a well? They also found out about The Great Wall of China. Did you know it took nearly 2000 years to build?
