As part of the “Ancient Greek” topic in year five, the children have been designing and creating Greek pottery from air-dry clay.
The key skill was to use a variety of tools to create pattern and texture whilst also remembering that the majority of Greek pottery featured geometric designs and basic red and black colours. The children will be painting their pots later in the week.
They did an excellent job and had great fun!
