A group of Year 5/6 children competed in the Bournemouth School’s Quad Kids Athletics Competition. Each of our 12 athletes had to perform 4 disciplines: The Standing Long Jump, The 75m Sprint, The Howler Throw and a 600m run. Each athlete was competing against themselves to score points depending on how long they threw, how quickly they ran or how far they jumped.
Winton did brilliantly. Notable achievements were all 6 of the boys coming 1st in their 75m sprints and Benji’s great tactical race to win the 600m! Overall Winton came 3rd out of 15 schools. Congratulations to everyone involved.
