For the last two weeks in PE, Mr Millar’s classes have been working on balance. The children have been discussing the importance of balance in order to improve agility, quicker reaction times and overall performance in sport. All of the classes finished their lessons using counter balance and counter tension exercises and also, in pairs, creating a partner balance performance to music. Here is an example from 3SM.
