It has been a busy start for Key Stage 2 Art Club this term as they have been developing their pencil skills. Mr King has been showing them a variety of ways to develop their sketching skills and an awareness of shade and tone in their pictures. Each week they warm up with speed sketching tasks before going on to the main activity. Over the last few weeks they have used the pencil to create light to dark colour swatches and also had a go at using their shading skills to copy a picture. This week they had a go at completing half a picture. They paid close attention to what they were doing and used shading to create light and dark in their picture.
