Last week the Year 5 football team played in the annual tournament at Littledown. The children were nervous for their first tournament together. The team won their opening 4 matches without conceding a goal resulting in topping their group and qualifying for the next round. They drew their next three games, hitting the woodwork multiple times, finishing 3rd overall. Winton played some fantastic football, scoring many great goals and showing an excellent level of togetherness and team spirit. Thank you to the parents for their encouragement and support throughout the day. What an excellent first tournament, well done to all the children involved.
