To launch our topic ‘Would your house stop the Big Bad Wolf?,’ the children in Year 2 were treated to four different versions of the ‘The Three Little Pigs.’ Each of the stories shared similarities but had their own unique spin on the classic tale. The children were able to compare the stories and identify common themes, like they all had three pigs and a wolf and in each story there were two opposing characters (one bad, one good).
Throughout the day, the children visited all four of the year 2 classrooms where they heard a different story and completed an activity related to the story. Here are some pictures from the day.
