In 6EL, this week we have been creating poems about dragon eyes. We did this by first brainstorming and using word mats and a thesaurus to come up with a list of nouns, adjectives and verbs. We then used these words to create clauses that we put together to form some excellent poems. Later that day we used clay to create our dragon eyes. It was a bit challenging as the clay was a little hard but using a lot of perseverance and a little water we think, at this point, the eyes look fantastic. We can’t wait to add colour to them next week when they have properly air dried.
