Year five, along with the rest of WPS have been investigating inspirational people. One of the personalities we have explored is Elon Musk, the eccentric billionaire who is trying to change the world with his Tesla electric automobiles!
We have also researched the amazing expeditions and life of Major Tim Peake , the first ever British astronaut. While finding out about his life we discovered that he had spent over 180 days on the International Space Station (ISS).
We have also restarted the Third Space learning programme to help children make accelerated progress with their maths work and introduced a new initiative called Reading Plus which will aid children in the reading comprehensions. 
We are only two weeks into the term and have already packed so much in! Onwards and upwards year five!
