Winton Primary School recognises it has a duty under section 26 of the Counter-Terrorism and Security Act 2015, to have due regard to the need to prevent people from being drawn into terrorism. This duty is known as the Prevent duty. As a result the school has an action plan detailing the processes and actions it will take to safeguard children and identify any potential risks.
