At our school, we use Language Angels to support French learning in Key Stage 2. This programme provides fun, engaging, and well-structured lessons that help children build confidence in speaking, listening, reading, and writing in French.
Through a mix of songs, games, stories, and interactive activities, pupils learn essential vocabulary and simple grammar in a way that feels enjoyable and achievable. Lessons gradually build on previous knowledge, helping children develop good pronunciation and the ability to form short sentences.
Language Angels also introduces children to French culture, traditions, and daily life, helping them appreciate the wider world and fostering curiosity about other languages.
By the end of KS2, children will have a solid foundation in French that prepares them well for language learning in secondary school.
