While most of Year 6 were away on camp, the children who stayed at school had an action-packed few days filled with creativity, teamwork and fun.
We started the week with some Minecraft, giving the children the opportunity to use their imagination and problem-solving skills to create their own virtual worlds. We also got creative with clay, designing and making our own models.

The creativity continued on Tuesday as we explored stop-motion animation. The children worked together to plan, create and film their own short animations using Flip. We also got busy in the kitchen with some delicious pizza making.

On Wednesday, we put our teamwork and problem-solving skills to the test by creating our own board games. We then returned to our clay creations, adding paint and colour to bring our models to life.
After lunch, it was time to get outside for some orienteering. The children worked in teams, following clues, navigating around the school grounds and putting their communication skills to the test.
We finished the week by enjoying some biscuit decorating, before taking part in our usual TTRockstars and spelling activities.

It was a busy few days, but most importantly, the children had a fantastic time learning, developing their skills of working together and having fun with their friends. They certainly made the most of their time at school!
