Winton’s Quad Kids team competed against a range of Bournemouth schools in 4 Athletics events: The 75m, the 400m (due to weather conditions on the day), standing long jump and a howler throw at Winton and Glenmoor Secondary school. Scores were given to each of the children (which can be compared nationally) depending on how quick they run or how far they jump or throw. Winton did fantastically well with lots of 1st place positions and good performances. There was a great camaraderie amongst the children all supporting each other too. We now await the overall results! Well done to everyone involved.
