As part of our science curriculum this half term, Year 4 have been learning about plants and animals. Following on from our study of food chains and nutrition we have been looking at the human body, including the skeleton.
We learnt about how important the skeleton is for movement and protection and then learnt some of the name of the bones. We then had some fun building skeletons. Some of the children even gave their skeletons some additional accessories like lashes and hats and some were even given names.
After half term, we will be learning to name human and animal teeth and how certain teeth help with digestion of our food.
