This week at Bourne Academy secondary school a Yr 4 golf team played super fast and pretty accurate golf, chipping and putting to hit targets in 16 golf games.
At the end of the tournament which had 10 other primary schools in it, Winton managed to come out in 1st place with a huge 1800 points! They received the ‘Big Swing’ golf trophy. Mr Millar was very pleased. Their teamwork, focus and brilliant effort impressed everyone watching and the team showed fantastic sporting spirit from start to finish. Congratulations to everyone involved.
