We’ve been so proud of Year 5 this week as they have been developing their skills in multiplication.
They have been working on using formal methods to multiply three-digit numbers by 1-digit numbers. We’ve been especially impressed with presentation to ensure the place value of the numbers is correct.
It’s been lovely to see everyone challenging themselves and learning from their mistakes.
We have also been learning how to multiply two-digit numbers by two-digit numbers using a formal method. We have all been heroes and added zeroes!
