In design technology this half term, Year 6 have been learning about creating tetrahedrons and working on strengthening joins between straws.

After working to become finger fluent in making tetrahedron cells, today, Year 6 worked hard to create tetrahedron structures from string and straws. They then added tissue paper to turn these structures into kites.
It was quite tricky to feed the string into the straws so we worked on our finger fluency in order to make it easier for us to create the cells.
Well done for working so hard on a tricky project Year 6!
