Winton are already in full swing of the many football tournaments held at Littledown during October and November. This report is of the opener which was the Yr 6 Primary School’s Mixed football tournament. 20 schools competing and although slightly jaded from a 3 day residential on the previous days Winton came out with a great determination to do well. A really tight opening group saw all 4 teams playing to a very high standard of football. A fabulous goal from the half way line by Noah saw Winton off to a great start in our first match and an amazing run and finish from distance by Luca in our 2nd game gave us a strong hold in the group. Overall we finished 5th out of the 20 schools. Mr Millar was very proud of the boys.
