Year 4 Explore the River Stour

This week, it was another class’s turn to visit the River Stour as part of their topic learning. Under the beautiful sunshine, the children enjoyed a nature walk where they explored and studied the features of the river.

The highlight of the trip was pond dipping – some children were lucky enough to catch newts, tadpoles, a great diving beetle and even blood worms! It was a fantastic opportunity to learn about local wildlife and enjoy the great outdoors. Keep up the wonderful work Year 4!
