This week our Year 5/6 Indoor Athletics team competed in the Bournemouth league at Avonbourne Secondary School in Pokesdown. Winton took on 4 schools in a battle of intense sprinting, throwing and jumping events. They dived through tunnels, jumped over hurdles, threw javelins, jumped to targets and did much much more in one of the most exciting events of the year. After 70 or so events Winton finished in 2nd place overall. Well done to all the children involved.
