Well done to the ninety children who took part in our end of term music concert last week. The concert was a mix of festive items and pieces the children have been learning in their school music clubs. Our two school choirs, ukulele club, recorder club and violin ensemble all gave brilliant performances alongside impressive solo items on guitar, violin and piano. The concert finished with a lovely acoustic version of our Christmas song ‘Things that Remind Me of Christmas.’
The ukulele club were joined on stage by two of our newest recruits, Mr. Hodge and Mr. King, who have been attending the club this term to learn this fabulous instrument with the children. I wonder if they will be back in the spring term to learn some new chords and tunes?
