The school pets have returned and are currently half way through their tour of the school. Every day the fourteen stick insects are moved to a different class so that all the children get a chance to watch them, name them and even dance with them!
Some of the stick insects have already matured and started laying eggs, and some of those eggs have already started hatching so we are now seeing the third generation of stick insects at Winton Primary.
The best name for a stick insect so far……….Stick Astley!
