This half term, we have been continuing to learn about fractions in Year 3. Recently we have progressed onto learning how to add and subtract fractions, compare unit and non-unit fractions and recognise equivalent fractions. The children have become very good at representing fractions using bar models, a very visual way of comparing fractions. They have also been applying their learning to reasoning and problem solving questions. Take a look at some of our learning.
