Year 1 have been learning about human and physical features in Geography. As part of their learning, they have explored photos and videos of cities, towns and villages in the UK. They have talked about the human and physical features you are likely to find in each of these settlements. Year 1 were very excited to look at photos of London and Bournemouth, a lot recognising famous landmarks they have visited or seen photos of before. Some children were surprised that although London has mainly human features, the River Thames runs right through the middle! Year 1 have really impressed their teachers with their knowledge and made videos sharing their learning!
