In history, we have been learning about how the train line impacted the lives of many people who lived in Bournemouth at the time. In order to understand the thoughts and feelings of these people, Year 6 interviewed each other playing the role of different residents.
Some children played disgruntled farmers, while others took on the role of tourists who could enjoy Bournemouth’s beaches.
After discussing the positives and negatives in role, they wrote an interview of their findings, using their drama as a stimulus.
Their work will be displayed at Bournemouth train station soon.
