In reception, the children have been working on using different pieces of equipment to support them in maths. We have been using blocks, Numicon, buttons, shells and different shapes to help us learn!
We have been focussing on the numbers 0-5 and how these numbers can be composed using the part, part, whole model.
During indoor learning we have been matching numbers and thinking of how many ways we can make the number four.
All the teachers and TAs in reception have been so impressed with everyone’s maths skills, keep it up!
