Indoor Learning

Reception love playing and challenging themselves in Indoor Learning. The children can choose to go into Indoor Learning during our Let’s Learn time. Each class also spends time there together, which is great fun!

Indoor learning is a great place to practice fine motor skills, cutting, counting and recognising the letters and numbers we have been learning. There are always opportunities to paint, play in the home corner, read in the book corner, get creative with the wooden blocks, write and draw.

The children have loved choosing paint colours on the colour swatches and pretending to paint the new house with brushes and rollers. Some of the children also dressed up as doctors with stethoscopes and builders in hard hats and high visibility jackets, with one announcing she was building a hotel with 46 rooms!

It is lovely seeing teamwork, puzzle-solving, imaginative play, lots of talking and loads of smiles. Thanks Reception for making all the adults smile too. You are amazing! Here are some photos of Plum class enjoying Indoor Learning.
