Winton Pupils in Year 4 travelled to Winton and Glenmoor Secondary School to compete in the Bournemouth School’s Primary Athletics competition. All of the team had to perform their best in four different events: A 75m sprint, a howler throw, a 400m run and a standing long jump. The team did amazingly well (stand out performance being Effie’s huge howler throw for which she got a huge spontaneous applause from the crowd of spectators!) and finished 4th out of 12 schools. Well done to everyone involved.
