Year six have been learning about electrical circuits during science lessons this half term. We started by learning the different symbols that are used to represent various items such as a bulb, cell or switch.
The children were then tasked with making a variety of circuits to see how they worked. The main experiment was to try and understand which materials from the classroom were good conductors and which were insulators.
There was a huge variety of materials tested such as pencils, scissors, pens and even someone’s glasses!
