Over the last term, Year 1 have been busy learning the Tortoise Vs Hare story. After learning and retelling the story the children have applied their phonics knowledge and written up the story. Look at their writing… what a fantastic job they have done! The children have now began to innovate their story. This means they are changing the story to create their own version and wow, what fantastic authors they have become! We now have stories which are titled ‘Dolphin Vs Slug’ and ‘Sloth Vs Jaguar’. Amazing, well done year 1!
