Winton Primary have been working closely with Access Art to produce pieces for the local community. Year five and six have been creating clay poppies which will go on display in the local libraries to show our appreciation of the sacrifices made by local people in the past.
The children worked carefully and respectfully with a local artist who showed them each stage of creating a clay poppy. The finished products were then transported to be fired and painted. They will then be returned to WPS so that we can share them with the local community in time for Remembrance Day.
