This week reception were very lucky to have a visit from Karen, a lady who works for Letter Press. She came in to share lots of exciting books with the children. The children were lucky enough to look inside many different books that even the teachers hadn’t seen before! The classes explored; books in boxes, long books, pop-up books and even books so tall that Karen had to stand on a chair! This book was a particular favourite! After some super questions from the children we then discussed what books the children had at home. I think it’s safe to say the children in reception really do love to read! A big thank you to Karen for coming in and sharing her wealth of books with us!
