After a successful summer term in terms of our children competing very well across a range of different year groups and sports it was doubly pleasing that Winton should be awarded the Platinum School Games Mark, the highest award a school can achieve for all round provision and opportunities in PE and School Sport. Winton have had to demonstrate in detail the impact and meaningful difference we are making to young children’s lives. Our Fit4Life curriculum, positive experiences of competition alongside specialist PE teaching and a huge range of breakfast and after school clubs, ably assisted by our massive number of Bronze Ambassador Sports Leaders, are just a few reasons why Winton have received the award. Congratulations to everyone involved in making our school the wonderful sporting and physically literate environment it is.
