On Thursday before half term we welcomed Rev Chris Colledge & Councillor Jane Kelly to school to have a look at our new Jubilee Garden under the school tree. They are judging the Bournemouth in Bloom schools competition. In recent weeks children from Year 3 have been sewing crowns, making information labels and designing the competition planters. All of their work can be seen in the gallery by the school entrance. The judges were amazed by the hard work and creativity that went into the designs and the knowledge that our year 3 children had about the plants and the Queen’s Platinum Jubilee.
