Year 6 have been thoroughly enjoying all of their writing this half term. They have been producing a narrative and a newspaper report based on the short film, Alma. The first piece of writing they produced was a narrative and focused on retelling the film. The film was full of suspense and used music to create this so the children have used a range of writing techniques to infuse this into their own writing. Once they finished, they worked with partners to give each other feedback and share what they liked about their work in addition to making suggestions for improvements. These learning conversations enabled the children to purple polish their work having had some useful feedback from their peers. This week we have been writing newspaper reports.
