Year 3 have been using their artistic skills to create a range of artwork that will be displayed in their Roman Museum at the end of the half term. This week they have been tasked with creating their own Roman mosaic. In last week’s Topic lesson they designed their mosaic, thinking about whether they wanted to create an image within their design or a pattern. Then this week they have brought their design to life. They were each given a wooden coaster to create their mosaic on, then they used glue and small mosaic tiles to recreate their designs, thinking carefully about the position and spacing of their tiles. What a fantastic job they did!
