This week in Year 4, the children have conducted an investigation to find out whether the amount of light bulbs, in a circuit, affects the brightness of the bulbs. The children also investigated whether the amount of batteries, in a circuit, affects the brightness of a bulb. The children had great fun creating circuits with several different components. Our conclusions are the more batteries there are in a circuit, the brighter the bulb will be. In addition, we discovered that the more bulbs there are in a circuit, the dimmer the bulbs will be.
